Once known as “sapphires” by ancient civilizations, prized lapis features a rich, almost blackish blue hue—darker than turquoise, more intense than sodalite or azurite. Often flecked with sparkling pyrite, it combines deep blue with golden tones for an arresting visual contrast.
Sycamore Wood – Originating from North America, sycamore wood is highly valued for its light color and unique freckled appearance.
