Situated in the heart of the historic Vallée du Cristal, known as the “Route du verre et du cristal,” this esteemed factory is a sanctuary for crystal enthusiasts, connecting the primary glass and crystal artisans of Lorraine and the Northern Vosges, and boasting a rich artisanal heritage with an established global reputation.

 

Obsidian (Volcanic Glass). Origin: Armenia

Obsidian, with its origin in Armenia, is a naturally occurring volcanic glass. It is created when felsic lava expelled from a volcano cools rapidly, preventing the formation of crystals. Obsidian has been recognized and used since prehistoric times, making it one of the earliest known materials employed by humans for tools, weapons, and artistic creations. Its unique properties and sharp edges when fractured have made it a valuable and versatile material throughout history.

Mother of Pearl. Origin: Japan, Persian Gulf. Mother of Pearl is the nacreous inner shell coating of pearl-producing mollusks. Mother of pearl has been used for thousands of years; it was used by the ancient Egyptians and Sumerians. One of the best Mother of Pearl comes from Japan and Persian Gulf.
